I bought a Jockey Club Gift Card, what should I pay attention to?
Jockey Club Gift Cards can be redeemed for tickets, but cannot be used for purchases at racecourses or other JCRL premises. They cannot be exchanged for cash or resold. If you change your mind, you have 14 days from the day JCRL accepts your order to cancel, but only if the gift card hasn’t been used. The cost of return will be your responsibility. If you use the card within this 14-day period, your right to a refund will be forfeited.
Does The Jockey Club have an advance purchase fee?
To be more transparent, The Jockey Club now shows booking and transaction fees separately. These fees cover the cost of processing your ticket and servicing your order. In previous years, the fees were included in the ticket price, but moving forward, they’ll be itemized separately.
Racing only events
For physical printed tickets, there is a £2.00 fee for delivery to cover postage costs. If you don’t book online, a £1.00 fee will apply to cover the cost of processing your booking.
Racing with music
When booking for Racing with Music events, a 12% transaction fee is applied to the ticket price, which covers the cost of the ticketing platform and processing. A £2.00 fee is added if you purchase physical printed tickets. If you don't book online, there will be a £1.00 charge for taking your booking.
